Without knowing more about your design I couldn't even guess at a line. I think Kohler is fine overall, American Standard is far better than they have ever been, and Moen has some nice faucets, but you have to watch the finish.

There are a lot of good online vendors that are mentioned on here. I read and comment on some 30 different forums daily and the one that sticks out in my mind for Kohler is "efaucets". I dont remember reading anything bad about them. For my own taste I chose Grohe fixtures but they do tend to be pricey. I felt that line to be worthwhile because I think you get what you pay for. My vendor of choice is National Builder Supply. They also handle a less expensive line named Danze. Very high style. Ultimately I would say shop around, read what people say here online and remember people are fast to criticize and slow to compliment so when you read good things on the discussion forums I think there is merit to what they say.

I really did not enjoy my experience with Irawoods.

If I didn't live in California I'd go with faucetdirect or faucetdepot, but they are local so they have to charge me tax. I've been satisfied with Homeclick and homeannex but I don't think they are universally praised. Most recently I ordered from homeandstone, but it is too early to judge how that transaction has worked out.

Plumbingsupply.com was good. Faucetdirect.com was also good (ordered literally a ton of stuff from them). Had positive experiences with homeclick.com and with luxuryplumbingplus.com Also, you might want to check out your local HD or Lowes. I bought all the bathroom sink faucets at HD on clearance and saved a good amount.

I've been pricing a lot of different faucets, valves and so on lately and Faucetsdirect always comes out on top. I've used them, they have great service and I plan on using them for several more projects.

If you decide to order through Ira Woods though do your research on them first, I believe there were some posters who has some big problems with them. If you x-post this same question in the kitchen forum, you'll probably hear about what I'm referring to. I believe it was Ira but could be wrong.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I spent a LOT of time online making my decisions tonight...and wound up with the Danze Fairmont centerset bathroom faucet for $123.36 and the Danze Fairmont Shower/Tub combo fixture for $147.36. Both in brushed nickel and both from danzefaucetwarehouse.com.

Prices around the Internet for Danze seemed to all have the same 15% off sale ending tomorrow...so I thought the prices were at least reasonable. And I've been VERY happy with my Danze Opulence faucet in brushed nickel in my kitchen for two years. Can't say enough great things about how solid it feels and the sheen to the finish. LOVE it!!

I actually had it all ready to go on faucetdirect.com, but realized at the last minute they were out of stock. A very nice woman on the phone there said that if they are out of stock of Danze, it takes about three weeks for them to get a new shipment and then they ship it to you.

I just ordered some faucets from faucet-warehouse.com. They had the best prices on what I was looking for. They seem to have a good bit of inventory in stock. I called and ordered over the phone, and mine shipped the same day. They were very helpful and I would order from them again in the future.

faucetline.com has always been good to me. They have provided good service with very good pricing. Before I posted this, I checked reviews and other people seem to like them too.

I bought my shower faucet (Hansgrohe) at home and stone and got the rest of my faucets (Danze) from needplumbingsupplies.com. Both shipped out quickly (and free) and had great prices. Because needplumbingsupplies was out of stock, I ordered one piece from homeannex (decor66.com) and got tricked - the site advertised free shipping but when I bought this they stuck my with a $7.95 handling charge (this was annoying but worth it because I got the piece within a week instead of having to wait who knows how long for it to get back in stock at the other store.

I run most of my searches on google shopping and then buy from reputable sellers with great prices. That's how I found both of these companies.

I just ordered two bath faucets from two different online retailers: Chicagofaucets (a Symmons) and faucetdirect. I had no issues with Chicagofaucets, and I had a helpful customer service person at faucetdirect help me via phone with that order. However, when the Grohe Arden faucet arrived from faucetdirect, it was in a huge 3ft x 2ft. flimsy cardboard box. When I opened that box, inside was the actual Grohe faucet box that was completely un-done, resulting in a jumble of 12 different faucet parts thrown together (handles, washers, drain popper, etc.) I have no idea if I am missing anything, because there was NO paperwork in the box. When I called their customer service line to complain about the mess I received, the person was very uninterested in my problem and thought it was no big deal. If I wanted to return it, I had to pay for my own shipping plus a restocking fee. I won't order from there again, to say the least.
