I agree with what you said, but can you recommend some good quality and appearance of the bathtub?

The faucet is 3 holes. A standard placement. Mine is from HD, but same as Lowes and is brushed stainless. Sink must be deep as I have no problem washing hands or anything else. The sink is a square pedestal. Am not terribly fond of the sink, no place to hang a wet washcloth and feel the space underneath is wasted. I've considered building a cupboard for this, just a surround with the sink as the top. The bath is so small that I know this would make things feel cramped. Hmm, just thought, a curtain around it would give me some storage. I'm fairly simple in decorating, so a curtain needs some thinking. Still have the wet washcloth problem though. Love the sound of the water flowing from the faucet, even seeing it...silly things we attach ourselves to.

Contractors do not design. They build. You need an actual K&B designer. You have a very restrictive space to get all that you want without turning it into a wet room. You, and your husband especially, need to educate yourself on modern waterproofing systems and how a wet room is properly created. The Schluter system will offer a lifetime warranty if their products are used from start to finish, including their thinset. Look at their YouTube channel. And don’t be so sure that your choice tractor can actually do this properly. Especially if he hasn’t had the wetroom and waterproofing conversation with you. Thank you! Updated the original post with added dimensions for everything. Forgot to add ceiling height, but they're 9'. Vanity depth is 21". I also added back the existing windows. Any windows can be closed or made smaller. The closet is largely existing and we actually like it as is, so feel okay with that plan though it's clearly not ideal. We are widening it just enough to add an Elfa shelf unit (12" shelves in front, 16" near back) on the wall between the closet and bathroom (which currently is just a blank wall). The closet rod is on the top wall and will stay there (and has been sufficient for our needs). We played with a lot of plans to try to turn it into a reach-in closet, but it isn't really possible within the constraints of the house without ending up with other useless space elsewhere. We can give up to 54" to the closet, but it wasn't clear that 51" vs. 54" made a huge difference in usability (whereas it got us from 2'3 to 2'6 clearance between the shower and vanity in the bathroom).
