Would This Be a Fun Thing For All of Us to Do?
Comments (114)This thread keeps popping up...maybe it's time to renew it again. Anyway, here's some pictures of my garden when I was living up in Georgia a few years ago. This was the second year in the house. All the roses I brought with me as cuttings from Florida. There was no room in the truck for furniture because half of it was full of roses. I had my priorities. Front walkway Lavendar Lassie Old Blush and salvia Clematis Nelly Moser Lilies and Evelyn Side yard. I can't remember everything that was planted here, but since I carried over 100 roses north with me, there's a lot. Mme Isaac Periere Phlox in the morning fog Reve d'Or, clematis jackmanii, and wisteria. When they were all blooming, it was heavenly....See MoreFun things in Colorado?
Comments (20)lol Cripple Creek has a mine. I live in Manitou Springs. We have 7 soda springs you can stop and sample. Great Wolf Lodge looks like a lot of FUN! It's been open about 4 weeks now. I run The Garden Of The Gods 3-5 days a week. There IS an Olympic training center in Colorado Springs, but it's NOT associated with the Broadmoor Hotel. If you need any additional advice, please ask me. Suggestions: Helen Hunt Falls. It's just a 15 minute drive up a canyon off a main street in Co SP ....and totally gorgeous!!!! It's just around the corner from The Broadmoor Hotel. Denver Botanic Gardens. Gorgeous. Red Rocks in Denver(just drive through). Ps: I would skip Manitou Cliff Dwellings, they're not authentic, a tourist trap. Instead go to Cave Of The Winds.....it's a REAL cave. :0) 7 Falls has an elevator...BTW...See MoreWhat is your definition of fun things to do?
Comments (25)Anything with horses but especially trail riding with like minded and well matched riders. We had a great time today. Felt like being 12 again. I love spending time with my grandkids at waterparks and the beach. I am always happy when near water. Fun is having adventures on road trips, meeting interesting people and taking the red roads to see where they lead. Fun is going to the fair and people watching. I have fun watching my dog and most animals at play. For me fun requires some sort of action or activity I guess. I don't have to be doing the activity but I love rodeos, whale watching, white water rafting etc. One of my most fun memories is bashing cars in a demolition derby. The rush was incredible. I'd do that again in a heartbeat, even at my age today. I have fun playing games with friends or family. I had fun last week catching up with people at my old stomping grounds. But for the most part I am not a partier, never have been. I have spent far more time at dragstrips and speedways during my life having fun than at dances or parties. I guess I am simply wired that way. I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, going to movies and quiet time, but that is relaxation, it's fulfilling but not fun by my definition....See MoreJust for fun, what was the last thing(s) you ordered online?
Comments (203)I'm on a roll - Chantelle undergarments, SOMA bras, and more sandals for me. UNTUCKit shirts for DH. Also ordered waterproof mattress pads for bunk room, YETI tumbelrs so DD2 and her DH have for coffee when here, a few more dresses from WRAP (Poetry's sister company), printer ink, Oribe Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray (after my stylist used - OMG, game changer!), and an Amika iRed straightening brush that she highly recommended. Oh, and a few more cooler shirts to wear while walking each morning. If you are a student, nurse, medical profession, responder, military (current or veteran) or goverment employee, you might be missing out on discounts from shop.id.me For example, UnderArmor was anotehr 40% off and UNTUCKit is always 25% off....See Morecloudy_christine
