About me: I have been trying, (hard, I might add) to create a decent flower garden for 4 years. I am now trying to grow my own by seed and feel a little overwhelmed and then I came across this webpage and feel I may be saved for this year as it is very informative. Thanks to all for info provided - has been extremely useful.

Commented: How cold is it where you live? Eastern Ontario is going down to -30 tonight, not sure what the windchill will be though. Will "warm" up on Friday to a balmy -7.
