Photobucket help, please

I must be doing something wrong. It used to be that when I wanted to post a picture, I simply clicked on the link under the picture in my photobucket acct (third link under picture, I think) and then it would say "copied" and then I would just past it where I wanted it to go. Now, I don't get the "copied" note and when I try to cut and paste it, nothing happens. This started a month ago. I am using a mac. Did photobucket change something that caused this?

I am having the same problem Jo. And I'm on a Mac.... but don't know if that's the root of the cause. I have to highlight the code now and right click or press copy under the edit dropdown. I do get the "copied" thing popping up, but it doesn't actually work unless I do the copy myself.

Might be a browser issue. I kept the old version of Firefox (2.something) because I hate 3. Did you upgrade? I use a Mac and have no trouble doing what you want to do on any of my Macs on Photobucket. Click, I get the copy alert and I'm good to go.

Contact them and tell them what is happening. The bottom entry of the first column at the bottom of their page is where found their contact information. They have been very prompt in answering and giving through replies that help correct any problems I have had. kay

Normally, if I click on the photo you posted in the galary, then I can get to your album to view that SINGLE photo ONLY. If I can get to see the whole of you album, then you need to reset you album to PRIVATE. I can do so by click on the tab "account options" after signing in to my Photobucket account. Then I go down to the section which says "Album settings", then I click on the line "edit my album settings", then next to the line which says "My album is" that comes with a box with the words "Private" or "Public"... I select "Private", then I choose "save". That will set my album "Private"! Hope that helps. Xuan

Log in to Photo bucket Click on upload at the top in green My pictures are on my computer so I clicked on computer Cilck on select photo in green go to your pictures and click and open Then save Go to album in blue click on picture and on HTML code under the picture Now go back to garden forum where you are wanting to put your picture and right click on paste. the code will appear. Go down and preview message and your picture should be there. I just sent one from there of out grandfkids. Need help email me. I will be gone this evening so it might be a while before I write back.

Joanie....there's really no need to resize your photos since photobucket resizes them when you upload. 1. Go to the main page and look for your log-in name at the top. There's a drop-down arrow next to your name. Click on that and select 'user setting'. 2. When that opens, look at the top of the page and click the tab 'Albums'. Make sure the box for HTML code is checked. 3. Scroll on down on that same page and click on 'customize upload options'. Select the size you want your photos ...........I always use the recommended size of 1024x768 and the photos are never too large or too small. When you're ready to embed the photo in your text, select the photo in your album, and to the right of the photo it should say 'Links to share this photo'. Copy the HTML code and paste it within your text See if that helps............
