I need help from a Photobucket guru......

A while back I posted what was supposed to be a slide show with 4 pics of my cat.

Along with that came some other pics.

How do I make a slide show that only shows what I want it to show, and doesn't have the "to see more pics" link?

I've read the tutorials but I'm missing something.

Can someone help me out please?

Move what you want in your slideshow to its own folder.

Not sure what you mean by "to see more pics" link.

I have the four pics in an album named "Lottiecat", then there is a place to click on "Slideshow." That creates a slideshow, but if I send a link to someone, or as I posted it here, after the 4 pics of Lottie are seen you will see 2 or 3 other pics that are in other albums, and it says "View more from SueVa." Then you can just keep clicking on anything I have saved there.

Clear as mud?

Oh, I wish ours was a non-event snow wise. It keeps snowing and snowing. The guys just headed out with hopes the paved country road between us and the highway has been plowed since they got home awhile ago. Our son has an all wheel drive vehicle and he barely made it through only to get stuck in our neighborhood. Luckily a wonderful farmer, known to all as Grampa, and his son came along and pulled our son out and let hubby park at Grampa's place just up the highway from our turn off. Our county called all trucks in since it's blowing over the highways/roads as fast as they can clear them. It's advised that no one should be out unless it's an emergency. Hopefully they'll (hubby and son) make the two mile round trip without any trouble. It's been like this since just Christmas Eve. Reminds me of when I was kid and once it started snowing it kept snowing until Spring and then it thawed. Just wish everyone could work from home on days like this. Oh and we must have close to three feet of snow now if not more. It's quite beautiful though. I do hope you find what you're looking for. Moonshadow, what a day you had! You are braver than I am. Must be young. LOL.

Buehl, thanks so much for the tip. I will email you to get the template. That is such a generous offer! Once I settle on the initial layout, I will post for critiques. Currently I am traveling and only have the iPad. Does anyone have opinions on losing the kitchen table? Would you lose a table (given the other eating areas in home) to gain more prep space and storage? Why do some people prefer the pennisula bars at the same height of counter? Oh.. And all this renovation is starting because we had a busted water line to refrigerator flood the entire kitchen. Talk about stressful!! The kitchen was always in our plan, just 12-18 months down the road. Does anyone know if the restoration/mold remediation company determines all lowers need to be removed, is it customary for the insurance company to pay for uppers too?

Thanks, marquest. I guess I want to know if the search process here can be refined. I have searched often with the search box. Using the search box gives me every use of the members name, including in references by others and all follow up posts by them, as well as all posts they initiated. Can I limit the search to just initial posts by a given member? Maybe searching through Google is better. It certainly turns up listings for subjects here that I don't get with the GW search. Maybe a generic search is the only way to do it here. It isn't that hard to scroll down and look for posts initiated by the individual in question.

Sue, they will always be able to see anything in any albums that are checked as 'public'.

If you don't want them open to all public eyes, you will need to make them private.

There is an album that pics will automatically go into, unless you upload them to a specific album. That is always public, I think...so if you don't want those pics seen, you will need to move them out to a private album.

I'm finally getting back here to see if I (we) can figure this out.

I have my pics in several albums, each marked Private. I had filled out the box for adding a Guest password. Just went back and changed it in case that one wasn't working.

I'm sending you an email through your MyPage. Check this out please. Does it still have the "See more" link?
