Full StoryInstalling a router on my home network to provide shared access to DSL required that I did not have any Firewall active during the installation. Further, I understand the Router (Netgear) provides its own Firewall. The installation wizard said nothing about putting my original Firewall back on line.
Is there a possibility of a conflict between the Router Firewall and a connected computer Firewall? Or, can/should I turn the XP Firewall back on? It is a weak Firewall in any case.
