Frameless glass in steam shower?

Please help with a steam shower/glass Q -

We're remodeling the master bath and built a large (5.5 x 6.5') shower stall and installed a steam unit. The enclosure has 3 fully tiled walls, floor to ceiling, and a tiled ceiling. The front wall, as you face the shower, has (L-R) half wall, shower door opening, half wall. The half walls will have glass from the top of the wall (tiled) to the ceiling with the full height shower door (about 8') in between.

The issue I am having is that local glass companies are telling me three different things: 1) completely frameless is ok; 2) largely frameless but with weatherstripping around the edges; or 3) can't do frameless in a steam shower, will not have good seal, must have a frame.

FWIW, I MUCH prefer option 1. That's what I've been envisioning all along. I've been lurking on the boards throughout the remodel and have gotten excellent advice so wanted to ask people their advice. There have been many confusing decisions along the way and hopefully this is the last one.

Thanks!
