In our country there are many rose lovers, who have PetroviÃÂ roses for some years now and his roses are highly praised. It's commonly called Southern Blight and is frequently seen in gardens in the heat of the summer. Though those symptoms you describe can be attributed to Southern Blight, they also match up with other fungal diseases, too. But look for the tell-tale white fuzzy stuff on the soil and stems (that's the sclerotia). That's something you can readily see with your own eyes. However, a laboratory test might be a good idea, if you are not certain. A well-balanced soil containing plenty of organic compounds is very helpful in helping your plants fight off these ubiquitous diseases naturally. So, too, is providing good growing conditions for your plants, according to specific requirements. Air circulation is essential, careful monitoring of watering practices, good drainage, conservative fertilization practices, and tending to garden housekeeping tasks. Corn meal has long been identified as helpful in preventing several fungal diseases, and yours is one of them. It doesn't work, however, by 'building up the soil' as you say, but by direct fungus against fungus action. Corn meal triggers a rapid growth of a Trichoderma fungus which devours some of the plant pathogens.

This happened to me years ago and although it’s an old thread, I wanted to comment in case it help anyone. I experienced the same symptoms as most on this thread- I went to see all kinds of specialists but when I finally went to my general doctor, he fixed me. Literally made a difference in 15 min. He is a general practitioner but also certified to do manipulations which is different than a chiropractor. He did tests to see if I may have MS or carpel tunnel. But those target specific fingers. He then made me stand up and checked my back. BOOM! I had three ribs out of place. Finally after 6+ months of my right hand tingling and bruising, I had an answer. Dislocated ribs sometimes don’t cause pain BUT if they pinch the right nerve, it can cause all the symptoms to your arm and fingers. Popped blood vessels etc. he adjusted me (again, different from a chiropractor) and within 15 min I felt relief in my arm hand and fingers. Now, anytime I feel tingling, I go see him and sure enough, my rib is out. People can displace ribs with a sneeze. Sometimes it causes pain and other times you can’t even tell. A miracle for me.

I realize this response comes pretty late.So your son should be around 7 0r 8 by now.Just wondered how he is doing these days.My DS just turned 6 and has been on breathing treatments daily for RAD for the past 4 and 1/2 yrs.2 wks ago we finally got to the point where he could begin weening off.And we celebrated our first 2 weeks of no treatments last week.But he came down with a cold the end of the second week so he's been back on treatments a week now.So I'm not sure yet if he'll get to stay off the treatments once the cold clears up.I will call the doc tomorrow and find out.I've never been completely sure what the difference in RAD and athsma was myself.Except that RAD seems to be maybe a more severe form I guess.My DS seems to catch colds alot more easily than his peers but he also has other med issues that affect this also.He is also a heart patient and has a history of Cong. hart failure,arrest, and stroke.So we have to be very diligent about the treatments at the first sign of a cold. Does your son have the eczema that goes along with the RAD or athsma?Mine has only had small outbreaks so far thank goodness.I myself have had more problems than he has as I too have athsma. The only weird thing is the week before coming down with the cold recently he began to have what I thought was a more severe outbreak of the eczema in the same locations as the usual outbreaks.Only his eczema creams weren't helping.So when I took him to the doctor this week about the cold she said it wasn't eczema but a viral rash and that the same virus that caused he cold caused the rash.I've never heard of this before.But I do know it itched like crazy and we awake one night half the night rubbing his little arms to keep him from clawing them because it was so uncomfortable.The past few days it sems to be getting a little better.Seems like it's always something. Anyway I apologize for the late response as you can imagine it's difficult to find alot of extra time when your child is doing treatments around the clock some days.I hope your son is doing fine.There are days I feel like a nurse more than a mom.Good Luck from a mom who knows.
