Well, Shirley's party is still on.....last day of the month and we do not have a third place BINGO WINNER!!!!!!!!!!

good morning everyone. dizz, thos colored chickens are too cute. strange, but... remy, the show sounds wonderful. i by-passed the philadelphia show this year, it's getting too big and too vendorized and not enough for the home gardener anymore. i like the smaller venues. sad about the batteries, but i know that feeling. i love delph's - i don't grow enough of them, need to add more. we are having sleet/snow/hail today. for the last two days, you didn't need a jacket and short sleeves were had by most! i did a little clean up and got some areas ready for plants that i have and now today - just nuts! we do a easter egg hunt at church, but use those plastic guys filled with jelly beans. (every year the same sour sap protests the jelly beans because they can become lodged in a kid's throat - every year no one has a problem and every year sh'e shot down). we must stuff a few thousand eggs. we have a little party and always a clown or a magician. it's so much fun for the kids. never fails too, the weather is always iffy. only once in the last 10 years we had to do it inside. dizz, i looked up a few of them, but not sure what you are looking for. tough contests! off to do some baking. my mom's birthday celebration this weekend. be well maryanne

Hello, Lovely Ladies-I can't believe I took care of all this yesterday , "pushed Submit" & received the message- After an April date you can no longer sign in with your GW name, etc. I couldn't believe it. When I get this typed again, you will all understand why I waited until today to try again. I received the largest box from Maryanne yesterday & I know when I try to input all that was in it, I'll forget some of it as it was so loaded, I can't believe that post is somewhere in outer space, I guess. Melinda - sending you lots of prayers and hugs your way.... Shirley - my 'little guy' will soon be 12 in about 2-1/2 months.(if you ask him, he thinks he is about 15, LOL) He did testing last night for Martial Arts and passed with flying colors! He is currently testing for his black belt...3 total - he passed his first one last night - 2 more to go. He has been breaking the black board with his hand and foot for well over a year now. (that is the highest board, some adults cant even do this) This is a NICE photo of him at his last tournament/competition the end of July 'sparring' - his favorite part! (Yes, mama is so proud! =) Margo! wow! never saw a spider like that before! She must be out and about for Halloween =) Enjoy your day ladies... not even suppose to reach 50 today...we are in some sort of a 'nor easter' right now -we are getting torrential rain falls and 50+ mph winds - in effect until 11 pm or later tonight.Electricity went out last night. I also needed maypole to be the third person but that's ok, I was a double winner already this month. Congrats to the winners.

The bonfire was a lot of fun and the s'mores quite yummy.

Was waiting on the BINGO word volleyball...my favorite sport. We had our last game Thursday so we take a break during the Summer and resume again in the Fall.

Thank you ever so much for the beautiful turtle bottle opener! I rec'd this yesterday in the mail - thank you! I absolutely love it, DH brought home some Coronas and was asking where the bottle opener was and I handed it to him - he says 'wow' where did you get this? I told him and he now thinks this is 'his' LOL I will never forget all the FUN Annie! I will think of you often =)
