I am putting together a calendar for my garden club and I think everyone needs a gardening "booster shot" about now so please share some good upcoming events you know about.

I don't know if this is for Master Gardeners only,

October 13th Eastern Region Master Gardener Day . The days events will be held at the Smokys Baseball Stadium,

exit 407 off of I-40.

Please send a webpage address for the above event if you know of one. Also, what city is this at?

The SmokIEs Baseball Stadium is in Sevierville. I haven't heard anything about an "Eastern Region Master Gardener Day" though.

The East Tennessee / Knoxville Plant Swap website has a gardening events calendar at http://www.easttnplantswap.com/events.html. There's not much on it right now, but we try to keep it current, especially in regards to East Tennessee gardening events. Right now the FOG (UT Gardens) Fall Plant Sale and the UT Arboretum Fall Plant Sale are listed.

The East Tennessee / Knoxville Plant Swap will be on October 13. You can find out more at the site below. It's on the same day as the UT Arboretum Fall Plant Sale mentioned above.

There's a Fall Wildflower Walk at the UT Arboretum on September 15. That's the same day as the FOG (UT Gardens) Fall Plant Sale mentioned above.

Looks like there are a lot of conflicting dates for gardening stuff in East Tennessee this fall.

ECHO was amazing today! The grafting demonstration alone was worth the drive. Laurie, Robin, and I met and went to all the classes. We picked over plants and books and seeds. I bought a cinnamon tree. Then we went out for lunch. Afterwards I went to a local nursery and bought a Double Rangoon, a Joy Perfume tree, and a mystery bush I will post a photo of to get a plant id. Becca where were you?! :) we missed you.

Here's a "don't miss" event in Hamilton OH - just north of Cincinnati. Great plants for sale and this private property landscape is well worth the trip regardless Joan Day's Backyard Treasures Annual Plant Sale 6215 Cavalcade Drive Hamilton, OH 45011 Phone 513-868-3512 Friday 26 May 10-5 Saturday 27 May 10-8 Sunday 28 May 10-6 Lots of collector type plants, troughs, hypertufa planters, new sun and shade perennials, and visiting her small, but awesome landscape makes this a definite "Don't Miss" event.
