I looked at the link and it is nice that they mention "Coming Attractions  Highlights of September" to indicate what plants will be blooming at that time in their garden. Really, what a great resource for those of you near the Arboretum.

myca99--- you may want to go for nandina, azaleas or mahonia... to hide that underdeck area. I have a nice stand of nandina, about 6-7 ft. tall. Any seedlings that sprout are easy to pull out. It stays put, has big pannicles of white flowers that turn to bright red berries in the fall. My neighbor has some mahonias that are about 6 ft tall and a bit more see-through than the nandina. Azaleas are always nice. The George Tabor azaleas have pink and white flowers, stay evergreen and slowly increase in size. Good luck with the planting!
