pvc drip irrigation...tada! we did it!

I know it's silly to be excited about such a simple accomplishment, but I'm so proud! We created a drip system for our "salsa garden" since I have finally convinced DH that tomatoes CAN NOT be watered with a rain-maker sprinkler.

The total cost for the 2-zome system was a bit over $50, but is easily dis-assembled and stored in a small space. It's going to be a LOT of help next year when we plant anew. Just lay out the pipes which are already marked for tomatoe & pepper planting with a few extra to be used for everything else, then plant...then mulch. We're learning to work smarter!

If anyone is interested...and I think it's been discussed here before, I'll be happy to provide a YouTube link that we found the most helpful.
