I dont use drippers on my GH, but I wanted to share some experience regarding the misters.
Make sure that the nozzles you get produce the mist as close to the nozzle exit as possible.
Some nozzles first produce a focused cone of water and the "mist" does not break up until after a couple of feet from the nozzle - even at maximum exit velocity.
In small greenhouses like the ones we have, those two feet are valuable space where it should be misting instead of squirting.

You have one fantastic looking garden. Both your greenhouse and garden are spectacular.

Could you elaborate on your watering system? What brand, where did you buy it, etc?

Wetfeet - Thanks for the tip. That makes a lot of sense.

Jerry - If you are speaking of the valves in the box, this is an Orbit Watermaster system. In the past I have always built the manifolds for my irrigation systems, but these pre-built manifolds are really nice. Each valve is connected with a union on each side so that a single device can be easily replaced if necessary. I will also use this to help drain the system before winter.

The rest of the system is just PVC connected to 1/2" drip supply line.

greginshasta, I love what you have done with the beds inside the GH. Since you raised the GH off the ground, does that give you enough headroom for ceiling fans? do you know how high the center beam is and what size timbers you used for your footing? This is a great idea for extra head room. Then you just put steps inside and out? I'm familiar with Shasta and the climate there pretty much like here. Do you grow these beautiful veggies in your GH all year? Can these HFGH's really support the weight of all the extras? ie. fans, sprinkers, hanging plants????

There are photos of another HFGH that features fans. I'm quite certain you can rig a fan up there so long as the extention does not conflict with any bracing you installed (such as the 1/2" rigid conduit that I and others used to brace the walls.)

The timbers that form the footing of the GH are 2x12 pressure treated fir. I did that a year ago when I started this project, but today I would have used the same rough cedar which I discovered later that summer at a local mill. I used the same PT fir for the outside steps and cedar for the interior steps. The steps make access to the GH a lot more convenient and being in snow country it allowed the base of the GH to be largely above the level of the typical snowfall here.

This is our first season growing in the GH but it's mid-July and we just recently pulled out the lettuce and spinach that had gone to seed. A new lettuce crop (seeds)is in the newly built 3rd box - time will tell how that goes. It gets awfully hot in there though.

As for weight, someone else might answer that. I strapped the various shelves to the sides and have seen no problem from the weight of the starting trays. However, I plan to replace the shelves (right now we are using the wire closet organizer shelves) with the style that Cactusfreak features in his HFGH photos. I want the additional space they will provide as well as to have them supported by pipes mounted above the raised bed boxes.

I'm looking for a clever way to water flats of plants in my GH. I looked on Charleys to see if they had a pan large enough to hold a flat (17x17) and couldn't find one. I thought I could set the flat in the pan and use a 1/4 inch line to fill the pan with water and let the plants soak up from the bottom. Does this sound feasible? Any ideas?

As it gets very hot here in the summer I have 60% shade cloth, auto vent openers, atic exhaust fan, circulating fan and misters set to run in the heat of the day 20 seconds on and 5 min off. Seens to realy help with the hear. With out them it would get up to 130 in there. I start seeds in the spring and grow orchids in there yesr round and they do fine.
