What's blooming in your garden?

We haven't had a "whats blooming" thread in a long time! It's a little early for fall flowers, and a lot of the summer color is gone. Here's what I've got, from memory ...

Trees/shrubs: Franklinea altamaha, hydrangea (various mopheads and lacecaps, as well as Annabelle, preziosa and h. paniculata Tardiva), heptacodium, Fairy Rose, rose of sharon, and a few lingering flowers on magnolia virginiana, nandina domestica, caryopteris.

Vines: Sweet autumn clematis, (it's everywhere - there are some other, better-behaved clematis in bloom now too), trumpet vine (still haven't gotten it under control, but I'm trying).

Perennials: NY Ironweed (Vernonia noveboracensis), rudbeckia, weedy butterfly bush, sedum (dozens!), coreopsis (Sweet Dreams and assorted yellows), Angelica gigas, Kirengishoma, thyme, lavender, reblooms on some salvias, some confused hellebores, daylily, Tunica saxifraga, Japanese anemone, gaura, perovskia.

Then there's this weed, does anyone know what it is? I love the scent of the foliage, so I always leave some here and there.

From AugSept2008

I'll remember the rest as soon as I hit the 'submit' button, I'm sure!
