Canning vegetable soup

I am going to try canning soup with the veggies from my garden. I do want to add some lima beans. Should I use dried ones and presoak them or frozen ones? I am concerned that frozen ones would cook to mush in the 1 hours and 25 minutes recommended for pressure canning the soup. I plan to use tomatoes, corn, okra, onions, potatoes and the lima beans. I would love to add peas also but they would have to be frozen ones as I dont have any in my garden. Please advise. This is a wonderful site especially for those of us who are inexperinced. I must have read 100 posts last night on the site.
