I just want to say that I have enjoyed all the beautiful pictures y'all have been posting! I am still not able to get out and do stuff yet due to my foot surgery I had 60 days ago. I thought it was only going to be 30 days but HA! My garden has been taken over by weeds and my planters are also succumbing. DH has been having to help so much with household stuff that he hasn't had time to help with my garden so I will have A LOT of work to do when I am on my feet again. I had a crash on my computer so all of my pics that I had previously are gone. Oh well. Keep posting those pics PLEASE!

Hang in there Joy, and I wish you a speedy recovery. They say misery loves company: my containers look pretty cruddy now too, and weeds are thriving.

Wow Luna, thank you for the link....That's very interesting! I'm not sure what she used to set all the pieces in place, but that's definitely something I will look into. I have some old tools from my Uncle when we lived out in Long Island..The ice breaker is among one of them as well as our ole 'snow shovel'. The fishing pole rack still has possiblilties to hang little things on, as someone mentioned putting hooks on the lattice. I've also been busy with our grandson making his stepping stone, putting a T Rex together, staining and sealing those as well...lol. I'll leave the link to it. With finishing the arbor (should have said that in my first post,...I'm looking into ideas on how to decorate around it. Also thinking of moving my birdbath in the center of it with a fountain. Between the heat, humidity, and rains, it's taking longer than I like, but hey ..that's florida for ya. Here is a link that might be useful:

Welcome back. Why state what has already been stated about work coming first in life. Oops, I just did... Without work, comes no hobby money. As others stated, thank you for your generosity this past year in helping me with seeds as a first year grower. All seeds I used from you germinated, and I had fun in my first year and am looking forward to many more. As well, I even gave a lot of plants away to friends, family, and even a couple others I did not know as I had an abundance. Thank you again and welcome back.

Jane, so glad your pneumonia is starting to improve. I"ve had that a few times and it's no fun. The air quality has not been good here, and thats in the mountains where we are supposed to have "clean, pure air", so I have been having to use my aburitol almost every day. Breathing problems run in my DM's family,nearly all of my 8 aunts and uncles as well as my DM had asthema or COPD and I think I just inherited that from them. It is raining here today, so the air doesn't feel hardly so bad, but it sure workd on the artheritis; my optomologist (SP) told me one time "that getting old was not for sissies" and I think he knew what he was talking about, probably from experience sense he is a few years older than me. Summer did fly by didn't it? I really dread winter snow and ice, but I really believe that I feel better in the winter than in the summer. I guess it goes without saying that spring and fall are my favorite seasons.Take care of yourself, and get plenty of rest so you will get to feeling like a spry "teenager" real soon. Prayers, Janet
