Our yard is even wetter than it was after fay! Normally our wooded preserve out back only floods after noreasters or tropical storms, but has now reached levels unprecedented in at least five years. Actually when we first moved in there were a bunch of blueberries and related species taller than head height before a flood wiped them all out, so its probably been even longer since its flooded like this. Fish, leopard frogs and bullfrogs have invaded and the grass is finally starting to be replaced by moss, which I have been pushing for all along. My parents (who I garden for) love having grass, even though its just too wet towards the woods.

Luckily everything was planted with the expectation that it would be flooded so everything is thriving with the exception of the Australian tree fern. Here is a list of plants that have been thriving in the muck that you guys can use.
