Morning walk

I took a morning walk with my camera

through my garden. You'll be able to get a feel of how I laid out my paths. I received my inspiration for the paths

from flowerlady. Mine is still growing and not as full as hers. So I dedicate this remix to flowerlady and her husband.

Beautiful, Felix, and a really nice slideshow, too! Well done!
I felt like I was walking through your garden with you and could almost taste the coffee I carry with me on my morning garden walks.

junglegal, all my property is high ground. The area that you see here and another,the chenille are planted in well drain areas and they are in shade,doing great. I also remember picking all kinds of fruits as a child. But there are not many wild fruits here in Silicon Valley. I bought a most delightful book called "A fine Dessert", that tells about how a dessert called "Blackberry Fool" was prepared from slavery to present time. I wish I could share the recipe, but it is copyrighted. I'm a foodie and I love the history of food. Lilo, I can see you picking wild berries, to me going to the store and buying frozen berries, and everything in between.

Thank you for looking and commenting. Nancy, Paul Neyron's huge blooms and sweet fragrance are always so welcome here. Kate, I think the reason knock-out roses don't appeal to me like the old garden roses is their lack of scent though their blooms are nice and my spouse loves the red ones sp I planted one for him. I am not a great peony gardener, Julis although I do love them and I did manage to have a bloom this time. I think our heat is one factor but I suspect I am at fault since I have lost a couple of them. Spring has been quite pretty here but summer will shut off some of the perfume and the almost ethereal beauty of springtime. Again, I thank you for your comments. Julia, you should be able to get a piece of your clematis back soon since you shared it. kay.

Thanks for the morning walk. Your garden is lovely and I love meandering paths. Although I look at all the bricks you have laid already and my back hurts in sympathy. So beautiful though and so much to see it makes it all worthwhile.

Felix, that was a great video! It was so relaxing just watching it. You have a great garden and the way you displayed it in the video was outstanding. I love walking though my garden early in the morning and watching the sun come up on the tree tops. Its the best way to start your day.

Taking those early morning walks are very relaxing indeed
and are very inspirational. I specially like heavy fog,in the near distance in those paths and in the trees in my shade garden. then watch the birds as they bathe in the brook and the frogs jumping into the pond.Occasionally I see
a cat drinking water. Pardon my going on and on,I'm day dreaming here after a nice Sunday afternoon nap. :-)

Felix ~ That was a wonderful morning walk! What a treat to be able to do that every morning. Your paths make me want to work on mine more, as they are overgrown and in need of some work. I love both the grass and brick paths. You have so much to see there, that I'll need to take another tour.

Love your spiderwort, and Texas sage. I have them both and I love seeing their blooms. Your roses are pretty. Listening to the music was a nice touch also. It really puts you in an altered state.

You have a nice sized piece of property, with plenty of space to meander through lovely gardens. Love your water features also.
