I have a small patch of the chenille plant (acalypha repens) but now that I see yours I'm going to give mine a bit more TLC so the bare patches fill in and look almost as good as yours.

And I love the richer lavender color of your Texas sage. Mine is a pale pinky/lavender which is just okay.

WOW is that the dwarf or regular?My dwarf patch bit the dust literally!

Is that a swampy part of your yard? I find them water hogs. They only way they thrive is in a water tight pot w/ pond soil. I first tried it in a hanging basket and it was a disaster.

Tell Aaron is Aunt Marcia thinks his photos are great! Especially the view of the chenille plant. So nice!! Mine is starting to spread in my big bed, thanks to the one you gave me. I like it a lot! But if I lay down on the ground to take a picture of it from the angle Aaron did, it will take two strong men and a fork lift to get me UP again!!

junglegal, all my property is high ground. The area that you see here and another,the chenille are planted in well drain areas and they are in shade,doing great.
I have another area that is full sun and dry soil where I
also have chenille planted and ,also do very well.
Here is the one in full sun,below.

Tanya,I do not know for sure but I think my chenille are
dwarf.

LOL Felix, your posts and photos are always so delightful. Looking at the Chenile photos makes me ask...HOW THE HECK MUCH LAND DO YOU HAVE???? The angle of the photos seem to make it look like it goes on and on and on and...well you get my drift!
