Oh horrors. I could have done without the bug! Otherwise they are all truely lovely. My favorite is CARNIVAL IN BRAZIL. Love it's watermark.

That is one terrific FFO on Carnival in Brazil. And yes, the cicada shell looks like something out of a horror movie.

That spider sure worked for his dinner. My own observation of this Tuesday morning. Nice, cool and overcast morning. Had three errands to run and got done before 10 AM. It is so nice to go out in cool weather. Have figured out that Tuesday morning is about the best time to run errands around here. Hardly any traffic and plenty of parking. Don't know why but we make plans to do our stuff on a Tuesday, if possible.

PEPPERMINT TWIST - seems to not mind the heat too much... PINK PANTHER - actually getting shaded by a massive SHOWTIME bush and a walnut tree the squirrels planted that I need to get my husband to yank outta there!! Kate - The Vicks was a good idea, and I was desperate during all the rain in the past week. I was pretty shocked when I saw the burns and bud problems, but I don't blame you for it. I know you said you heard about it from a nursery owner. I saw on a Houzz hosta thread where a gardener slathered the rub on short pieces of bamboo stakes that she placed among each of her hosta's leaves. I have some bamboo and plastic stakes. I think for daylily protection, they need to be about the same heiight as the buds. I'm also toying with the idea of putting wind chimes in some of the gardens. I'm so enjoying looking at everyone's pix today. Ming Porcelain came here as a mistake, but it turned out to be better than what I ordered. Ours is usually beautiful, but it has taken a beating in the heat wave and drought. Yours looks fine. Other favs for me are Margo Reed Indeed, and Royal Frosting Avedon

The clump of ELEGANT CANDY is so pretty.They are all so pretty. but my favorite os them all is CARNIVAL IN BRAZIL.I really like that one.

I had a first flower on Carnival in Brazil yesterday too, but not nearly as nice as yours! I pick it as my favorite today along with Elegant Candy clump.
Hate the monster shells!!! Found the first one yesterday too.

All are awesome but I especially like Carnival, Tropical Heatwave, Tangible Dist. and Royal Frosting. So grateful I live in a cool zone 3a. I think I would never go in the garden if those "aliens " were any where around!
