Okay, this is really my final posting for the season!

For those of you who read my last posting, I showed you what I had been working on before the close of the planting season. Well, the brick path has been updated a bit. There is now a seating area for reading and relaxing during the Spring and Summer seasons.

This picture shows a different angle. The chairs are temporary as they typically sit on our front porch during warmer months. The sitting area and path leading to it were dug out and filled with sand and the remaining gravel used for the brickwork.

In the circle I have a plant stand where the sundial and pedestal will go. The plant stand prevents my sons from playing with the circle's sandy middle.

By the chairs you'll notice a long line of stone. These originally outlined the bed close to the waterwell and outlet area. I don't know how many times I've moved these blasted boulders in my garden, but I ain't doin' it NO MORE! They now seperate the shade/hosta garden from this new bed. Though you can't see it, there is a small path leading from behind the far left chair through the shade garden. I'm thinking of adding a small pond next to this path.

The bush in the far right corner is a lilac, followed by a climbing Cecile Brunner and lastly a leafless Crepe Myrtle. The two little hybrid teas are going to be dug up and planted into pots.

Where the water well and electrical system are I'm going to cover with a hollow faux rock. The bed will be outlined in 'Vadar Valley' boxwoods.

Okay, now I'm officially done with the hardscaping for this bed and done with the garden in general until spring. Hahahahaha! Yeah right.
