Help me ID this volunteer please, pics included.

So this sprung up in a potted Cordyline I have. It had a purple tinted stem and the new growth emerges in flat oval shaped clusters (for lack of a better word). Now there are tiny bright yellow flowers emerging. Any idea ? I am in coastal Brevard County and I see no other "weeds" like this in my neighborhood that I can tell.

Looks like cassia (senna) bicapsularis. It's a favorite of sulphur butterflies. It normally blooms in the fall but I noticed that my neighbor's plant is blooming now too. Crazy weather!

...or perennial peanut. If it's upright and bushy it may be cassia. If it's flat to the ground, then it might be perennial peanut.

I haven't grown any of these, but that photo of Red Zebra shows a 2-cell and Tatiana's describes it as round. The OP's tomato, on the other hand, looks larger, definitely isn't round, and looks like it's probably a beefsteak type with many more cells. Other stripey bicolors would include Beauty King and Beauty Queen. Looks like a just a regular old clump of blue phlox, which bloom this time of year. The are not a shrub, just a medium size perennial flower that can spread slowly over the years. See this picture as an example: http://www.pocketpoems.info/resources/blue%20phlox2.jpg

Totally looks like perennial peanut to me - I have some in my yard & on the grounds @ work too...
