Help me ID this volunteer please, pics included.

So this sprung up in a potted Cordyline I have. It had a purple tinted stem and the new growth emerges in flat oval shaped clusters (for lack of a better word). Now there are tiny bright yellow flowers emerging. Any idea ? I am in coastal Brevard County and I see no other "weeds" like this in my neighborhood that I can tell.

Looks like cassia (senna) bicapsularis. It's a favorite of sulphur butterflies. It normally blooms in the fall but I noticed that my neighbor's plant is blooming now too. Crazy weather!

...or perennial peanut. If it's upright and bushy it may be cassia. If it's flat to the ground, then it might be perennial peanut.

And after digging, but before bagging, keep it in a hot, dry place (such as an oven) for a couple of months to get thoroughly dried . . . don't want it recovering and rooting at the landfill! Resin

Totally looks like perennial peanut to me - I have some in my yard & on the grounds @ work too...
