Getting things ready for spring weather

I started more seeds about 2 weeks ago. Some of my tomato plants are about two inches tall already, but lanky. I don't think they are getting enough sun. I planted some carrot seed in my lettuce garden. I plan to throw some raddish seeds in there, too. My zuchinni, calabaza, and yellow squash are starting to get a second set of leaves. Sunflowers and zinnia are starting to sprout up. My oriantale(legal kind) poppys are a couple of inches tall. I've been raking up leaves from around the yard, piling them in where I want to build a new garden. Then, I'm covering the 8inch thick leaves with another inch or two of fresh horse manure so that the leaved don't blow away. This project will take months, I think. I don't know yet how big this is going to be. I haven't measured it yet.

Here are some pics

Brocoli raab flowering. Being experimental, I ate some flowers. Not bad. My horse likes them, too.

Kale. It made a head like broccoli.
