Have you thought about selling tomato seedlings at your local farmers market? Heirlooms are the hot thing now and someone with a green thumb like you should do well. Not good for ebay because shipping plants is murder.

In previous posts about your health and Lee's condition, we've posted links and contact information for a variety of county services. Neighborhood centers are set up throughout Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties, staffed by people who understand all the help available and can walk you through anything that may apply to you.
These organizations are set up to help so why not tap into that? Lee's age qualifies him for some assistance, especially if you are ill and need to be hospitalized. Ignoring your health issue doesn't make sense because if you collapse you'll be in hosp anyway and then what happens to Lee? Contact them now so you know what's availabe for him and for you.

Kate, I have been in touch with numerous people and it does not matter about his age it is the fact hs pension is too high. They all state that they understand with the economy that prices are going up but there are people with less income that need more assistance and because they do not have insurance they give to them.

I was not pleading for assistance from any of you guys. I just needed to cry on a shoulder as was overwhelmed with the latest news. I also just wantd to ask for more prayer as God has his way of taking care of us.

I spoke with my podiatris this morning and he is writing a prescritption to have a Picc line and for the IV antibiotic. I will be able to administer the meds at home. He said since the wound had healed on my toe that unless the MRI showed evidence that he needs to go into the toe and clean out the bone I will not need surgery. He will be ordering another MRI of my bones from the waist down to see what is going on. God is taking care of us but he is teaching me that i need to place my trust in him and keep my eye on the sparrow instead of allowing satan to cause me to stress and fear.

I do not have a lot of friends in the Orlando area as Lee and when I am able to work, Disney takes most of my time. Since I am not at work I do not have my normal avenue of friends to chat with. I feel a special kinship with fellow gardeners. and just needed a friend. I am sorry if I offended anyone as that was not my intention. Linda

No offense, Linda. Just trying to show you some alternate paths to assistance if you didn't know about them. We all need to vent once in a while and share what's going on.

I have asked to have this posting removed as I feel I have offended people and I don't want that at all. I have been spending time here to make time pass, but I will return to my writing. Honey, no one wants your post removed. We aren't offended in the least. We all go thru difficult times and understand. It's just sometimes we wish we could do more by sending you in the right direction to maybe get someone to help you.
