Trunk broad, bark gray-brown, fibrous. On Irmasan standing plants 6-10 m high, approximately 150- 200 years old.

Description Hybrid of /Skyrocket/ and /Blue Pyramid/. More narrow and more silver coloured than /Skyrocket/. Strong growing male plant. Brother of Juniperus scopulorum MX, which is selected of seed population, more narrow and more silver coloured than /Skyrocket/.
The successful Juniperus scopulorum cultivars of the 80s from the USA are all sick in the european inside continent. We had to change them to healthy clons as of Barabits and other hungarian breeders joined, too. Maybe, this ones should be sent back to the States to make there a bigger choice.

Nice! I like the color on Juniperus scopulorum Moonshine!

Nice topic, it's only to bad that a lot of the small plants grow under poor conditions.
I think when they will grow in very good and fertelized soil the plants will show a better form ánd colour.

The Juniperus scopulorum 'Moonshine' looks very much like the Juniperus scopulorum 'Snow Flurry' which is also a variegated branchmutation found on a 'Moonglow' in the U.S.

They're getting propagated, and, that's the important part. My hat's off to the propagators!

Like Edwin, I'm seeing the potential here, myself!
