Very interesting...I had sent the above message as a GW e-mail to Maureen,not as the start of a new thread...you are right Arum...I don't post to the forums here anymore,I do alot(!) better not posting to the forums at this site,and greatly prefer to use a more private form of communication...with the rarest exceptions...and I don't plan on resuming posting to the forums...unless more of my GW e-mails continue to be 'transmuted' into new threads,then I will refrain from using the e-mails from here...I will answer your question by private e-mail...apparently a 'glitch' or a s w 'itch'(!) in the GW system really wanted to see this as a new thread instead of the e-mail that I sent... (in the battle of wits)? __________________ I have sent private messages asking questions, or offering support, but when I disagree I confine my opinions to the public forums. Which I try to do somewhat gently ... most of the time, but occasionally I let some rather wry humour slip in, but just wanting to be funny, not to be nasty to someone. Often I find that there is more agreement than appeared at first. And sometimes offering a different slant on an issue helps people to look at a situation in a bit of an altered light. I appreciate the opinions and concern for others expressed here, and have learned a number of things from others. And I hope that I may have offered some useful suggestions, advice, empathy and support, as well. Also, I have disagreed with someone who has taken someone else to task, especially if it appeared rather unfair, high-handed, or such. Especially if the person being criticized/(attacked?) appeared to be rather lacking in self-esteem. But I hope that I succeed in doing so without putting people down. Buehl, please do! I was just trying to save something of use. I'd been checking the GW all night, turned my back for 15 minutes to watch the Health Care vote, and whammo! all the posts were gone. I kept refreshing, thinking, "This can't be!"
