Do you garden in neutral pH & which Teas & Chinas are happiest?

I just had a thought. I'm wondering if the difference in performance in some of my warm climate roses might be due to a tolerance vs. intolerance of neutral pH. I'm not knowledgeable enough to be sure I'm saying this right but isn't it possible that intolerant roses are not getting enough nitrogen and minor elements that would keep them from being well foliated, i.e., not see-through? Here are the way mine have been performing. I have lots of limestone in my yard.

WELL FOLIATED

Anna Olivier

LeVesuve

Enchantress

Souv de Francois Gaulain

Blush Noisette

General Gallieni

General Schablikine

Clotilde Soupert

Don Juan (this may not relate to pH)

TOTALLY SEE-THROUGH (without improvement no matter what I do)

Duchesse de Brabant (she's gone now)

Mme Antoine Mari

Mme Antoine Rebe

Souv d'Elise Vardon

Souv de Pierre Notting

Gruss an Aachen

Old Blush (lots of blind growth)

Carnation (lots of blind growth)

Kronprincessin Viktoria

The Fawn

Hermosa

Duchesse d'Auerstadt

Mons Tillier

Mme Abel Chatenay

NOT TOTALLY SEE-THROUGH BUT NOT VERY GOOD:

Louis Philippe

Jean Bach Sisley

Rosette Delizy

Reve d'Or

Valentine

Lamarque

I'd love to hear how these roses do in your gardens and if perchance you with acid soils find the opposite to be true.
