Reine des Violettes rose is pink July 9

HI all! Has this happened to anyone else? I have a 9-year old big HP, Reine des Violettes. It was not fertilized too well in spring, but it bloomed with purple, medium-sized blooms in late May. Yesterday, I weeded, checked soil and added lime and gypsum, trimmed bushes, fertilized. Reines des Violettes had one bloom now. It tends to have a few off and on over summer and a few more in fall if I fertilize and trim about Aug. 1 (which I plan to do).

The bloom I picked yesterday was on a long stem with a few leaves. And it is PINK. Now that is is in the house for a day and opening further, there is a hint of purple on the older petals at the bottom. The rosebushes are spaced and I am sure it is Reine des Violettes bush - not a mix-up. it has been hot and humid in Maryland, near Washington DC.

Has anyone had this that the normally purple bloom is pink? (I don't think it's stable, so not a sport.) Thank you!
