Sacramento Open Garden rose sale list?

Does anyone still have this list? I tried to visit the sales list but the link is gone, and I did not keep my printed copy.

I purchased what was labeled as Mrs Dudley Cross, but clearly is not. This rose has started to bloom and it has clusters of single roses, white on the top of the petals and deep rose pink on the bottom. It also has some blackspot, somewhat unusual in my area, though not unheard of. There are a few tiny hooked prickles on the back of the rib that connects the leaflets. I did not notice a particular scent.

I took some photos but unfortunately my computer has a hiccough and currently is not loading pictures from my camera.

I would love to know just what this rose actually is. I'm tempted not to keep it, but before I make a decision, I'd like to now just what it is I have.

Hey Anita: Thanks for posting that. I had it marked on my calendar already:) Last year my MIL and husband went down for me and had great fun. That was when I got Lupe's Buttons which was such a find. The catalog looks so great! I went on the early bloom tour and everything looks fantastic- some of the early once-bloomers are really at their peak right now but it sure looks like it's going to be a magnificent show for the Open Garden (God/weather/spirits/sprites/etc. willing).

Yes. it rained off and on, but it didn't dampen enthusiasm for the plant sale and the garden. We usually have 65 people in line for the roses before the rope is cut. This year, it was 80! We sold all but 30 roses and some companion plants. We had 300 people, slightly down from previous years. They didn't linger nearly as long - the rose hotel didn't have much business! - but there were soggy smiles all around. A very successful day, all things considered.

Thanks very much to both of you!

I've gone through the catalog and don't really see a convincing match. I suppose it could be a Cemetery Musk Seedling, but the petals don't look quite right. Of course that is something that can easily vary with weather. But the blackspot seems wrong. Even more wrong is the complete lack of scent, and unlike the tea scent, I can smell musk.

I think that this is probably not a rose I will keep. Just as well. Real estate is getting very precious in the garden.

If it was Cemetery Musk Seedling, I think you would DEFINITELY be able to smell it. I can -- and allergies have really diminished my sense of smell. Also, it's not light on the top and pink on the underside of the petals. Fact, I can't think what that could be. Don't suppose you've got photos???

I do, but there is something wrong with either my camera or my computer. I can't seem to get iPhoto to recognize that I have plugged the camera in for uploading.

I would be happy to give this rose away if someone is interested in giving it a trial. It is in a gallon and I am not interested in shipping it. But I have a rose selected (or at least a rose type) for every remaining spot in my garden.

I'm pretty confident that it is not Mrs Dudley Cross. Any idea what it might actually be?

Wow, looks a lot like Lyda Rose. I was thinking it might be a rootstock, considering that my Mom once gave me a "cutting" of Cecile Brunner that turned out to be "you-know-who" (Dr. Huey)... However, this rose's flower highly resembles those on the Lyda Rose I have.
