Hi all, am new here after Googling problems on Karcher 2400 HH purchased at Costco about 5 years ago. Having the same pressure problems as many. I have broken the attachment fitting off the end of my trigger gun and am awaiting the arrival of a new one that I ordered from PressureParts.com. They informed me of this unloader problem. So I get to it and can't get it out either. Couldn't get any tool in with that cross member in the way. Naturally I hadn't got here yet before loosening the pump front and spilling oil. Doh!So pulled the whole thing off from engine and struggled but got the spill valve out with needle nose vice grips. Not really caked up at all but O rings were brittle and beat up looking. So I'll get some new o rings and get it it greased up while waiting for the new trigger gun. As well as getting some of this unobtainium oil and either topping up or replacing. Like others have mentioned it doesn't look as good as one would hope it might. Apparently a lot of these guns broke like mine (where the tube is soldered to the threaded fitting) and they have redesigned the plastic housing to better support that joint. Hope to have some good news in a week or so and share any thoughts and experience as many of you have done. Thanks to all!

I've owned a GR2100 for a little of 2 years now -- bye-bye warrantee. 1. Dropping the mow deck is fairly easy without special setups. Even though the deck weighs 200 lbs it easily slides out sideways from under the machine. Before removing the shaft push the otherwise disconnected deck forward. Reach behind the left rear wheel and pull back the collar on the shart -- comes apart easy, and remove the rear piece from the spline. You will then have to twist and turn the deck out from under the tractor -- the biggest problem is clearing the part of the shaft that doesn't come apart. The deck is relatively easy to work on -- I just recently installed the mulch kit myself. 2. I made a crude measurement of the incline on the hill in front of my house. It is just shy of 40 degrees. I can get up and down this hill without brakes just by using the toe-heel control. I do, however, periodically run into a hydrostatic-lock condition climbing the hill. I back down and get a running start and usually make it the 2nd time. If not, I will go up a less steep section and come down the more steep section. As I indicated, I rarely use the break and frankly don't feel comfortable with the brake because it is easy to lock the wheels suddenly with it. I slow down and sometimes stop going down the hill just by putting a little back pressure on my toe-heel control. 3. With that said, I now come to the main reason I'm posting at this time. I referred a friend to a local Kubota dealer to purchase a GR2000. He was told it was discontinued because of transmission problems. My understanding is the GR2100 has the same transmission and I have always wondered whether hydrostatic lock was normal. Now I'm not so sure and even concerned because I am a couple of months outside of my warrantee. Any thoughts out there?

I've had a Kenmore front loader for 15 years that has been a great washing machine. It originally cost about $600 in 2001, and has just kept on chugging. Right at the moment, it is dripping a bit from the bottom from a leaking outer tank, but not enough leakage that it doesn't dry out between uses. Since it's on a slab, not a big issue, but I expect to be replacing it within a year or so, Can't really complain about that length of service for what we originally put into it. I'll be looking for another front loader, this one has gotten our clothes clean without damaging them with minimal water use. No smell, but we leave the door and the soap drawer ajar between uses so that they dry out inside. Yes, it does vibrate, but it doesn't rip out pipes and walls or walk around, just makes some noise on fast spin. I haven't got enough money to buy a washing machine that doesn't make any noise. And yes, there's a certain amount of luck involved with any major appliance purchase, and I'm well aware that we've been lucky with this one. Lemons do happen. But you can take a lot of the doubt out (except the probability of getting a lemon *smile*) by doing your research up front. Good luck!

Replace the breather, it's cheep. Replacing the filter and cleaning the magnets would possibly help a little, just up to you on how much work to put into it. I have never taken mine apart, now at about 350 hours and think I'll wait till it has a problem before I do. Kind of like a car - change the oil and filter, but do not take engine apart every time oil is changed. Also you didn't say how man hours or age of tractor.
