If you use Peat Pellets, you might wanna look...
Comments (5)I might have something to do with the soil I've used, my climate or watering, but I've never had a problem with the pellets. Last year, I took the nets of half of them and saw absolutely no difference. This year, I tried some tomato sized pellets that are twice as tall. I thought that they would be easier to manage, and take less watering. I think the surface area cause them to dry out as fast or faster so I put them in cups with coco coir/perlite pretty quickly. I started taking the netting off and the pellets fell apart. By the third one, I saw that I split the taproot and I stopped taking the netting off. They are still seedlings, but the ones with the net still on are doing great. I'm not saying pellets are better than straight mix, or some other method, or that everyone should leave the net on. In my case though, the pellets are very easy for starting a small number of plants, and so far, the netting has not been a problem....See MoreWanna Play? 'If I Won The Huge Lottery, I'd . . .'
Comments (28)1) What is the first thing you'd do or buy for your home . . . or would you sell it and buy another? If so, where? DH and kids would never want to move. But if they were agreeable, I'd move to a house in our neighborhood that had larger bedrooms, a real guest room, a larger living room, a real home office, and a really nice finished basement with real windows and a door to the back yard. And a screen porch overlooking a not-too-big, but bigger-than-ours back yard. 2) What is the first thing you'd do or buy for your spouse or SO? I know that many of us have kids, but to keep this game reasonably short, let's not go there now . . . so just your spouse/SO: A new BMW. 3) What the FIRST foreign country you'd plan a trip to . . . and do NOT tell us "around the world!" (LOL) . . . let this be a more specific answer: Does St. Bart's count as a foreign country? 4) What first charity would you donate a significant amount of money to, or start one of your own for what cause? This is too hard! I'd have to split over several. 5) What is the FIRST big thing you'd do for YOU? Hire a housecleaner once a week and a chef to make dinner every night! 6) OK, are you still following the rules ;^D ?? I know there would be many other purchases and trips, and we'd all save a big chunk of the money, too, but what ONE other thing would you spend some that money on? My 3 kids' college tuitions. Just starting on DS #1 this fall! Can't imagine what it will cost when we get to DD, who is still only 9....See MoreWanna choose my backsplash for me? Anything yoU love I wanna se
Comments (35)Just putting in my two cents' worth. My tile is Roman Collection French Blue Diamond. Unfortunately, I don't see it anymore where I purchased it (tilebar.com). I have maple cabinets with crema antelope granite, and my island and butler's pantry are white cabinets with marron cohiba granite. It coordinates well with them, at least I think so. :) Good luck with your decision! All the previous suggestions are gorgeous! I will probably be building again in the next 12-18 months and have lots of great ideas to consider!...See MoreIt's my birthday and I'll do what I wanna, right?
Comments (29)Glenda you eat out every day as I recall. Do it YOUR way good Leo girl. You want what you want how you want it and why not? Cook on. It sounds good to me. I personally don't like to eat out so I for sure see why you want to eat in this one time on your Birthday so you can cook for somebody else as well as yourself and eat exactly what you want. Happy Birthday....See Moremelissa_thefarm
