Anybody else getting pop-ups upon hitting 'submit'

I first noticed this only in the trees forum and nowhere else but now it's happening here. When I hit submit when replying to a message it gives me a popunder window. In the title it says "Zedo- undertone network" or something to that effect. I am using the latest version of firefox so don't tell me to use firefox to block popups. Anybody else having this problem?

Yes. Some days I can not log onto any of the gardehweb websites because of pop-ups that will lock up my internet explorer. I was starting to frequent several of the sites, but it's too frustrating having to restart internet explorer more often than not. It took me five times to get to where I could post this reply!

I'm using 2.0.0.4...with the Ad-Blocker add-on, and I'm getting the same pop-under window. I haven't had any lockup problems though.

Out of 3 plants, only two have scapes - but I just got them all last September. I've got 3 scapes on Raspberry Pixie (have had 3 blooms), one scape on Addie Branch Smith (2 blooms, more coming), and no scapes at all on May May. But some of the DL forum people tell me to hang in there, particularly with May May, as once they are more settled in - say, next year - they will do better. I'm not complaining, as I never even thought they'd make it through the winter, not to mention my complete-novice-technique!

oldhousegal, I commend you. I'd love to be living that way - as they say "every journey begins with a single step". I found a website created by a grad student from Singapore who is studying "food perceptions" of all things. This entire website is dedicated to unraveling the "great pine nut mystery" (don't you love the internet!). Here is a picture of pine nuts. "S" is apparently what you want. "A" is what you don't want. Similar in size.. posting another pic below which is a close up of "A". close up on PNS (pine nut syndrome) inducing pine nut Funny... Target house brand of pine nuts has only had one reported case of PNS but Trader Joe's has had 69 cases.... maybe I'm not ready to give up on Target yet (maybe I am still being naive to believe everything I read on the internet.... looks pretty credible to me though - will link the website below). I'm so irritated right now I'm about to delete my whole account (all 1700 some photos). Maybe it's a new feature, but it appears if you delete photos now, they still remain on the site unless you remove them from the site. If that's the case, we can't since there's no edit on GW. It says if you change the album name it will break the link but so far that's not working for me. I did delete my cookies and all that good stuff. Even restarted the computer for giggles. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I sent them an email so probably in three days or so, I'll have an answer. I don't like feeling like I have no control over my own photos.

It has nothing to do with those of us that are using the Internet Elephant (by choice in my case) as you call it nor does it have anything to do with garden web or the antivirus or spybot or whatever everyone is using. I have firefox and other browsers. They are all doing the same thing. Cnet is reporting that AGV is experiencing a problem and it is not just at Garden Web. a quote from them........."It is not infected. This is a problem with AVG and it is happening on other sites as well. AVG is notorious for false positives"

I get a popup when I think about coming to this site. As a matter of fact i found one floating in my bedroom at 2 am

Now it's popping up video's with sound. I can not have that at work, and can not install software on my work computer. It has happened here and on the trees forums. I will not be coming back to any of the gardenweb sites, at least not from work.

My guess is that they've added an javasc+ipt onsubmit event handler. (That means when you click or submit something, you are launching the popup).

For what it is worth, I'm not getting the popups on Firefox.
