Losing my mind

I canÂt believe this is happening! With all the things I have to worry about, heat stress, grubs, fungus, and now poa annua. My once lush green lawn, now looks like there is a white film on the top from all the seedlings growing. Where did this come from? I never had this before. How do I get rid of it? I mow high (around 4Â), would it make a difference if I mow lower? I never knew how much work a nice green lawn could be. IÂm thinking about hiring a professional like Lawn Doctor. Would they be able to get rid of it? Maybe they can get rid of my fungus problem? Sorry for the rant, but I feel like I'm losing my mind. Let me know what you fine folks think.

Thanks

Tony, Jackson, NJ

PS...BTW my grass is a mix of fescue, rye, and bluegrass.
