Bermuda Front Yard/Fescue Back Yard-crazy?

Bought new construction on fall of 2007. Approximately 11000 SF of fescue sod was laid down by the builder.

Backyard looks good. It's partially shaded and flat. A few thin spots but overseeding should take care of it.

Front yard looks less good. Bermuda is invading, it's thin in spots, and it gets full sun. I don't have irrigation, and I would prefer not to install it because I'd still be battling full sun and an Eastern exposure (the sun rises over the front of the house so the front yard gets blasted with sun until 4-5PM in the summer).

If I had it to do over again I might have gone with Bermuda everywhere, but I really like having the fescue in the backyard. I have a small dog who used to track in bits of dormant Bermuda (our old house had Bermuda everywhere).

Would it be foolish to dig up the front and re-sod with a warm-season grass? In the long run I think it would look better and save water/money, but I just don't know about having 2 different grasses on the same piece of property.

Any suggestions?
