I LOVE cryptic crosswords and have been doing them since discovering Games magazine in the '80s. Not the devilishly hard ones, but the wordplay really is what makes them so much more fun than a regular crossword.

I was curious what this was about, even though I am not at all games person. I have revisited actual jigsaw puzzles and really loving them. DH does them on the computer all the time, but I find the actual physical much more enticing.

I do remember Games magazine. We used to subscribe and loved it. I have not partaken in any of the games that most people I know are involved with lately.

I guess that's what makes the world spin.

It really is great when you find something so enjoyable.

Starstruck seems a lot like Sudoku...?

And I've recently been playing and enjoying a cryptogram game on my phone. I never had an interest in such games in analog, but now I'm hooked on this one - it tells you when your guess is wrong, and the quotes are interesting and often profound.

Not really much like Sudoku, more like Minesweeper.
