Confessions of a former pizza delivery guy
Comments (6)A friend of mine used to own a pizza place and she started refusing to deliver to certain areas. The drivers weren't comfortable and she said she wasn't going to force them into uncomfortable situations. Certain apartment complexes they would still deliver but told the people they'd have to come out and get their food at the curb. It got to be too much for her and she technically sold the place but in reality gave it away. It died shortly after....See MoreHelp with a Pizza Hut house.
Comments (31)Our front windows are all wood-framed and overall in good shape. They would be ok to paint. The sliding doors in the rear are all vinyl and could be painted, but lower maintenance to keep them white. I've looked at similar colors to Felted Wool too. About a year ago, I paid someone for a few design concepts. He took it things in a very, very different direction. I could share a photo, but let's just say it would be a distraction. LOL. Almost purple with rusted steel garage doors and garden boxes. I couldn't see it for the house, the surroundings or the community and the community has a ton of variety. It just illustrates there are so many different options and potential wrong turns....See MoreFOTESS March Swap: It’s a GREEN Thing
Comments (175)Ruth, thank you for a fun green thing month...... RE: saving paper towels. I am always using in the kitchen/around the house...so, I rip them up and throw them in a metal container that I keep on the kitchen counter. The coffee grounds, scrap veggie stuff/whatever go in the container too. I do dump in my compost bins more than once a day. Last night, I was cleaning out my two kitchen junk drawers. Yes, most of the drawer went in to my metal container....lots of paper stuff. Slow Friday night for me LOL!!!! My sister bought a metal container (with lid) for this very purpose on Amazon, to keep by her kitchen sink. It is to small for me. Happy weekend FOTESSERS....Enjoy more March Madness (basketball). Comments (42)Pink, if its just you, you can make 1/2 the recipe. Maybe make two thin crust pizzas from it (stretch the pizza dough thinly on pan. and no need to make a round crust — stretch dogh out into an oval or free dorm organic shape. I used thinly slice fresh plum tomatoes, but you can make a simple tomato-based pizza sauce (it often has a bit of oregano in it. Most people suggest not adding too much sauce. Before adding toppings, I make a bit of a ”barrier layer” with olive oil/any oil nf a pastry brush or fingers/spoon. That helps prevent the dough from getting too wet/damp/soggy. Cook for less time, keep an eye on it. On e when grilling a pizza ougside, it rolled and stuck together. I let it. I ened up with a rather yummy ”calzone.”...See More- last month
