Murraysmom, at my school it meant a certain number of language hours, more or less depending on how many languages you took. You generally had a primary, secondary, and tertiary language. Naturally, there were all the other requirements for the liberal arts. You could make it a more in-depth concentration depending on the other courses you chose in the arts, history, and philosohy, as well as in the English department, but that would be one’s own choice. I did not go that route, I was multi-interested.

Like you, I have had to curb the impulse to make corrections everywhere I go. I limit myself to when it matters!

This requires clarification. As I understand it, 5-6MM watched the murican show live, versus a record-breaking 135MM watching the real halftime show. Live. We play cards and dice while the Superbowl is on, because for some it's boring so most of us prefer to do something interesting while it's on. When the 1/2 time show comes on the TV volume goes to ZERO as for every super bowl. 125 million may have watched it but really, how many watching it turned the volume to ZERO or did something else? It's a good time to do some dishes, but what ever the case, with no volume it looked dumber than a 3rd rate B movie musical. Turning the volume up it was still the same but in Spanish.
