What Suggestions Do You Have for These Design Dilemmas?
It's that time of the week again. Let's all put our heads together and solve the design dilemmas of some of our fellow Houzz community members. Question 2: How to introduce color into this family room?
"Although you cannot tell from the pictures, I love color! I am struggling with how to introduce color into this room. The pink picture is not working. I like how the paint color works with the fireplace, so I do not want to change that. I would like to add color through accessories, but I am not even sure which colors I should try to add in here!"

Question 3: What do I do with this poster?
"I have this sweet poster that was a billboard ad in Paris, but I don't know how to use it in my house. First, where do I put it? Second, the poster was folded and mailed to me, so it has creases. How can I work around those?" Have an idea? Click here to answer.

Question 4: How should I replace the wood walls?
"We have a 1974 home we love, but it has required updating along the way, from replacing the orange kitchen sink and paisley bathroom wallpaper to complete remodels of some rooms. Our great room has pretty vaulted wood and beam ceilings, which we love, but there is too much of the wood remaining on the walls. I have Spanish Red in the kitchen extending into the dining room, and Bryant Gold in the living room. What color should I replace the remaining two wood-paneled dining room walls with? (The wood walls are opposite the large red wall.) Red or gold again? Another color? Stone? I would love some ideas!" Have suggestion for these wood walls? Click on this link to answer.

"I have just moved into a house where the window is off-centre in the master bedroom. It's also above the bed (on one side), which makes finding an appropriate headboard (that doesn't partially cover the window) difficult. I would really appreciate some ideas."
