My siblings and I exchange smaller gifts.. my brother generally makes one stop for all sibling gifts-- it's generally the state store, starbucks or dunkin LOL. This year, I think I am going to go with the Yeti tumblers for the BILs.. Other gift ideas for men in the $20-$100 range: irish driving cap tabasco items - tees, polos, ties, etc They have some very fun designs (or used to) suede grill mitt digital/blue tooth meat thermometer scarf Pistachio Bowl (all of mine have come from Hilborn Pottery but there are many designs from lots of companies) Over $100 Panini Press - great for a young, single man - I got one for my nephew when he was a bachelor because, darn it, you can toast just about anything between two slices of good bread and have a great meal. Boos cutting/carving board Pizza Oven - my sister bought the breville ($150) at WS and I thought the pizza was great. The whole family loves it. (They also make them to go on the grill). If they cook, good olive oil, flavored vinegars, funky fun spice blends Craft cocktail fixins Artisanal booze.. small batch gins and bourbons are becoming very popular (especially with the younger set)

DS got a desk for school (cool steel mid-century desk that will accept a clamp on multi monitor stand), a ukelele and some harmonica stuff (he's into teaching himself instruments), Airpods, a new backpack for school (a big waterproof bike messenger backpack), some sheets, and some clothes, including a pair of lederhosen (don't ask) and various cool shirts and jackets (our friend Keith died about ten years ago, he was a fashion designer and dancer, made gorgeous clothes and his husband Bill is only now letting go of Keith's special things). DD got a weighted blanket (it's a thing now, comfy blankets with added 15 lb of weight), a bunch of Glossier makeup and painting supplies, some cooking oils and sauces, some thrift-store leather pants, a fountain pen, and a plane ticket for a trip. SWMBO got an electronic toilet seat (she instructed Santa to bring her this, but he didn't install it so I have to), some luggage, and lots of little things - earrings and so on. I got a new dehydrator, slippers, a couple books, some coffee, and other stuff. I also am self gifting - I mean, Santa is bringing me - components for a bicycle project. Lots of carbon fiber bits have been arriving in the mail lately. I also bought myself a new espresso machine restoration project.

Let us know how you like the socks! If they are warm and machine washable, I'll make a note to ask my daughter for some next year. I have Raynaud's, and wear wool socks and disposable foot warmers from fall into spring. I had a nice customer-service experience last night. I called Amazon when I discovered they were still billing me for my grandsons' Free Time on their tablets, even though the boys had stopped using those tablets almost a year ago. (I hadn't noticed the charge on my credit card until now because I make so many Amazon purchases.) So I called, expecting them to cancel the service and refund the most recent payment. But instead they refunded 11 months of payments! That was a pleasant surprise.

@Funkyart, I didn’t remove my comment…at least not intentionally. 😁 I commented on the inner band only because sometimes there will be make-up on them. I also commented on sealing the hat in an air-tight bag, in case you were worried about creepy-crawlies. Friends and I have traded shoes and it didn’t bother me, but I’m not sure how I would feel about used shoes from a stranger. In college, DD wanted cowboy boots and she wanted them to look well-loved. She bought a pair on eBay that fit her criteria. Then she bought bowling shoe disinfectant and sprayed the insides (who would have thought to buy bowling shoe disinfectant??) You mentioned man-made fibers for hats. I had two sun hats that were exactly alike, I thought. Come to find out, one was some sort of natural material and the other was woven paper. I took the woven paper on vacation, got caught in a downpour, and it looked awful. I don’t want any more woven paper!
