Simple Southern pleasures..
Comments (5)FlowerLady: Thank you it has really greened up. It is STILL raining. DH had to lower the pool as it was way too full. We are expecting 70% chance tomorrow too. This is just what we needed. Annette: thank you for your sweet compliments. We are on that porch every day and the" kids" are always wanting to swing out there and talk to us. We have never watered our lawn and it has really deep roots. It greened up when we had the little rain 2 weeks ago. This is just a great blessing. The plants are really happy but they say the DD has taken a permanent toll on the trees and shrubs so we will see. There are a lot of dogwoods and magnolias that have already died. Linda I am huffin and puffin your way and toward FlowerLady. I have spent a good bit of the day going out on the porch , sitting, watching and listening. Believe me you don't want to see the rest of the "garden". I kept the public part looking good but the rest...well no pics of that. It looks really bad. But there is next year! Comments (4)Me too! I think that's why we all like to hang out here! I love having my own "grocery store" at home. I never have to run to the store for something, I just use what I have! Family and friends look forward to being the recipients. I think it's like any other hobby/passion. No one can really explain why accountants like numbers, why quilters have the patience to create works of art from tiny little stitches, why artists sculpt, draw, paint etc. and some of us (like me) can't draw a stick figure resembling anything recognizable. We just all have different values, interests and talents. Thank God! This would be a pretty boring place if we were all identical! Deanna...See MoreSimple Pleasures
Comments (30)Okay guys!!! From now on, I need some ID's on the pictures, pleeeeeeeeze???!!! Help me LEARN! Gorgeous photos! Thanks so much for sharing! Very inspirational on such a gloomy day. Just FYI, you folks who were enjoying so much rain during the late summer and early fall, we are finally getting it here in Sanford, too. In fact, it has rained for four days straight, and my front sidewalk is now covered in a slippery mold that I have to pressure wash later. Don't want anyone falling down on their way to see me! I wish I could go take some pictures, but it is way too stormy to take the camera outside, so I'll continue to enjoy yours! THANKS!!! Marcia...See MoreTide simple pleasures
Comments (30)I would buy it too! Actually I would want a monthly subscription. 1 sample is never enough!!!! I'm not sure either about the jars. Plastic would be lighter and cheaper to mail. But can get squashed. The lid would need to seal tight. I would also make some stickers on the front with your name & such. I'm not sure about detergent. I was thinking along the lines of Verizon and a Verizon reseller. They're allowed to sell Verizon service but cannot claim to be the real Verizon. Just an example that comes to mind....See More- last year
