Here are my parents in the local press. That was a cool old boat. It had a poop deck. I was 6 when they launched the boat for the first time and I rememeber being upset that I had to go in a car from the launch to the boat club. They didn’t know if it was safe yet.

Don't feel badly - it was part of a student art installation in an Amsterdam gallery (the Stedelijk Museum if I recall, which was a wonderful experience). I walked in an saw this bejewelled stuffed iguana fed into the rollers of an an old fashioned washing machine, and laughed. And so I needed to take a picture.

My mom saved this and many other significant newspapers.
