Along with our notorious Spring winds comes the tumbleweeds. But, unlike that beautiful song “Tumbling Tumbleweeds” that everyone loves, real tumbleweeds are very much hated here in the Southwest. They’re covered with thorns, drop tons of seeds as they roll, are a real fire hazard, and are always blowing across our highways and getting lodged under our cars.
