Awww, I'm glad that worked out for the squirrels. I noticed the nesting material and thought some of it might be squirrel fur. I've read that squirrels will pull fur from their chests and stomachs to line the nest. When we had dogs (all of whom shed incredible amounts of hair), every time I brushed/groomed them during spring/nesting season, I'd toss all the resulting hair outside and the birds just had a field day. They'd even fight over clumps of dog hair sometimes! I know squirrels can be destructive, but I just love watching them. Sounds like this time the squirrels were the innocent party and actually helped with yard cleanup! P.S. We were out clearing brush yesterday and I noticed an old bird's nest in a pile of branches hubby cut. I think it might be a hummingbird nest. Anyway, I cut it out of the branches and plan to display it in my studio. The construction is amazing.

Last week we returned to a favorite resort in Costa Rica. They replaced the gift shop with a mini gym and library. Nice to keep up with my weights while on vacation.
