Hi Tamara, Thanks for all your hard work. :) This topic actually came up around here recently. Personally, I would be most interested in the ability to edit/delete one's posts after submitting them. Even for a limited period (aka 15m). I enjoy the basic style of the forum and the fact that there's no interference with using basic code to insert links pictures and formatting. Nothing gets wonky, even simple polls. I also really like the way it's laid out simply. I find forums where you can respond to individual posts and have it appear right below that post, instead of at the bottom of the thread, very hard to navigate. It would be great if there was a link next to the thread topic that took you straight to the last post, though! I also personally think it would be nice to have sub-forums that all appeared on the same page instead of on separate tabs. People often don't even see the trade sub-forum. Or don't like posting in it because other people forget to look there, and they get more of a response in the main forum. It would be nice to have a Sticky section, too, so we could post some general guides and not answer the same questions over and over again. Also, do you have posted somewhere the reason why international growers can't post trade requests? :) That's all I can think of now. Good luck with the renovations and thanks for the space. :)

Thank you for the improved process of posting photos. I use to have to browse twice, once when I placed the photo on then did the preview as it would go away. As for the signing in my computer takes care of this problem. Only have to sign in if I use a different web search engine. Either members need to do a short post when they send request by email or there needs to be a way we can find that member. When I post wants or haves some send emails which say check my list and leave their user ID. It does look like I need to find out how to edit any of my earlier post. Thank you for all your efforts I love this site and have received some nice seeds and plants from many kind gardeners. I do have one request if possible, could there be a way for members when they send an email for the one who receives that email to go to that members site say to view their want-have list?

This has been interesting! I used to love surfing around on Gardenweb! I’m not very techy at all but I could do it. Houzz has been confusing a bit and sometimes I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone. It’s exciting to see some of these names from way back! Definitely remember My3dogs, Palimpset, and Magnaverde for sure! Why do they mess with success? I’m not even sure what my user name was back then. Maybe Deborah 1950? A funny story. Several years ago I was at Home Depot researching ranges. I told the guy my 40” Kenmore Elite electric range story about how the oven hadn’t worked for a few years and I’d been told no parts available. (Everyone is now so tired of this story, including me). Anywa, he was on his computer and says, “Here’s somebody else with the same problem!”

I cleaned my cache etc this morning and now my pages are Houzz. I had the dickens of a time trying to find the categories. I wanted to see what Hot Topics was doing, and when I clicked on Gardening, it doesn't give all the categories, as we know HT is listed below Hot Peppers. It took me right into Gardening discussions which I don't want. So now I manually change the houzz url to Gardenweb discussions OR click on my personal topics on the left. They are still Gardenweb. And, when it's Houzz, all of my discussion categories (KT, Cooking, etc) are all shown. I don't like that. I like browsing around Cooking or KT, I don't want all the discussions showing on the same page.
