I would move the sectional out from the wall a few inches and about a foot closer to the projection wall so that there is more room to walk behind it. I think a square ottoman or organic wood table would look better than the white coffee table. Move the lamps out of the corner. They look like they are in time out. You could add more greenery to the space. I really like the idea of wall to wall shelving to display an assortment of your travel photos. You can easily put three shelves. Use the same frame for most of the photos, but mix a few different ones. The inspiration picture had 21 photos, so that can be your guide. Notice how they were layered and in various sizes. Definitely use color. You could have one of your favorites reproduced on canvas and put it on the projection wall to the right near the windows. I don't believe any of these suggestions is in conflict with a Scandinavian vibe. You have a great space.

If you decide to do drapes, I would pick a shade that is closest to your your wall paint. One panel on each window. The fabric will add softness to the room. No need to add shades right away. Live with the drapes first and then add, if you feel it is needed. For the Dining Room, I would add drapes there also. Add drapes, the same color as the living room, but with a small pattern. The pattern would be just a slight color difference than the background of the drape color.

Consider a chaise lounge and arc lamp for the reading area, and I'd opt for a 3-seat sofa and two armchairs in front of the fireplace. It is easy to get into good looking pieces that are not comfortable when dealing with more modern styles, so be judicious and try before you buy whenever possible.

It doesn't look fine. Sorry but the TV is way to big for over the FP. Also it seems too high for comfortable viewing. The FP is not proportionate to the wall either. Is there any chance of getting more stone and granite? It might help to widen the FP. @littlebug zone 5 Missouri has the least expensive solution. The FP seems flat to the wall so I'm not sure either of the above built-ins would work.
