Help With Hanging Entry Mirror and Entry Table Arrangement
Comments (10)I think you need to decide if the mirror is for primping, or just for a design statement. If you look at many foyer pix, including a couple here, the mirror is practically covered up by a larger floral arrangement directly in front of it. It is not about checking your lipstick. The reason I mention it is because I think the mirror needs to hang on the lower 2/3 of the wall space between the light and the tabletop - and likely that will make it a bit low for some people to use for grooming purposes. I think the box is nice, and can certainly sit in front of the mirror a bit. I think the floral piece is way too casual and rustic for the other pieces in the group, and also disappears as the color of the vase is almost identical (at least in the pix) to the color of the table. I would rather see you find an interesting pair of antique brass or black iron urns to place on either side of the mirror, and fill with taller greenery and branches to add volume on either side of the mirror. The paired urns would also add a more formal feel there. Consider adding a decorative mirror hanger and cording to give the mirror more vertical presence....See MoreHelp with non entry entryway
Comments (4)Great place! you can definitely treat this as it's own space, you have plenty of room and are on the right track. I love the shelves, a black console wouldn't be my choice but it looks like you like black and white so it should look great!...See MoreHelp needed: What size mirror for entry way table?
Comments (34)Wow, great suggestions and advice! Thank you everyone for the help and inspo. I will be keeping the same style entry table, but I am open to purchasing the 70 inch version if the mirror I ultimately select calls for a slightly larger console. I really do like the vertical looks vs hanging horizontal, so I will be looking for new mirrors that better suit the table. I also like the idea of adding scones, but will need to hire someone for electrical work and I will wait on that. I love the formal living room mock up! My table is similar except it’s all glass, so I’ll see how it works once it gets delivered. I also like the idea of adding a lamp to the corner and I the linen drapes on black rods. Thanks everyone for the advice! This community is so helpful. We closed on our house 4 months ago and started completely over with furniture so forgive the stock photos and horrible builder lighting fixtures....See MoreEntry way Mirror ratio to a bench
Comments (9)It’s hard to take a picture of the entire wall because the opposite side is a bathroom and two walls that lead into bedrooms so it’s a short distance so I can’t back up enough.. end to end that wall is 130”.. this is a main entrance. I intended to get bench with no storage and leave the tray beneath it...See MoreMGdecor
