Three Entryway Essentials
The entryway is the first place most of your guests will see, so it's important to make a good first impression. Not only do you want this space to look stylish, but even more importantly it should be functional and organized.
My top three must haves for the entryway (or foyer, if you are so lucky) are:
1. A place to stash your keys, wallet and miscellaneous items. This could be a narrow console table, a bookcase, desk or dresser.
2. A mirror. Let's face it -- we are all a little vain. Make life easier and hang a mirror next to the front door for quick once-overs before leaving the house.
3. Coat rack or hooks. This is a necessity if you don't have a coat closet, but either way it's nice to have easy access to jackets, scarves and handbags.

Perfection! A mirror, modern coat hooks and place to stash things as well as sit.
Nicely done -- this foyer has a console table and a bench for putting on your shoes or stashing your purse.
The lighting is a nice addition to this space.
If you have the room, providing a small place to sit is another top priority.
The yellow walls make for a nice cheerful entry.
Who wouldn't want to come home to this??!
Not one, but two chairs! And this doesn't even looked cramped.
