Is 6x9 rug too small for under King Bed
Comments (5)A 6x9 rug is only 69" wide, so I don't see how this would fit at all. You'd only have some on the sides if you ran it long ways under the bed?? Do you not want the rug to show on all three sides? When you say 57" deep is that the height of the bed? I'm confused by your dimensions. If it's 81" wide and 95" long, I would think you'd want at least 2-3 feet of carpet showing so that would mean a rug that was 10 x 12 would fit best. There's going to be so much rug hidden under that huge king bed, have you thought about doing two runners down each side?...See Morewhat size rug for under a California king bed?
Comments (29)Way better! Th e photo posted twice!! Love the kitty too. Can you open the shade and let some light in there? Turn the lamps ON? !!! Honestly..... I think you need a dab of color and some texture. Gray is fine, but wer are looking a bit wan.......... : ) https://www.pier1.com/tufted-blue-bench-with-metal-base/3763570.html?scid=scplp3763570&sc_intid=3763570&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=PLA&utm_campaign=google_pla&s_cid=pla0000003&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIw_Ko8uCe3gIVhjppCh1R8wCPEAkYISABEgLWM_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds...See MoreRug size under queen bed? Comments (8)Tried to edit my original post but kept getting errors. The problem with all the "DO" rules is my room is irregular in that where the bed is is only 9'6" wide therefore the rule of the big rug is out the window - which my husband says was created and pushed by the rug industry to make you buy the more expensive rug LOL. So I'm stuck with.... 8x10 - if I turn the rug 'long ways' and fit all the way up to the headboard would leave about 9" of bare floor on the sides, stick out 3' past the foot of the bed (which is fine) and cause uneven nightstands likely to adjust, could stick felt pads under the 2 legs. 6.5x9 - would leave only 3" bare floor each side basically filling that space, leaving the nightstands free. 5x7.5 - would leave ~15" sticking out, enough to put your feet on but hardly enought to see the rug I love. May have to find another location for this rug and stick w the runners. We have limited time there as it's a vacation property we're trying to fix up to rent and wanted to have things pre-purchased. Wayfair has some fast shipping so may have to just wait and map it out w the tape....See MoreDo you have a king size adjustable bed?
Comments (27)We have an adjustable latex queen bed. It is not split. Of course dH wants his feet up, and I cannot breath unless my head is elevated. I wish we had gotten the split king, since they did not have split queens. We comprised! He got the bed; I bought a recliner and put it in the (cramped) bedroom. He can elevate his feet, and I can breathe in the recliner. I “make” the recliner just like it’s a bed, with bottom sheets, as many blankets as I need, and a colorful top “bedspread.” I can sleep warmly now! He runs “hot” and never wants more than one thin blanket on the bed. He can sleep “cold.” It’s hard for me to sit on the side of the bed. I raise the head and foot up a bit to change the sheets, too....See MoreMaureen
