Lighting Design Dilemma entry

Foyer Light Help

I'm thinking about getting theDawson 30 Inch 10 Light Chandelier by Capital Lighting Fixture Company for my dining room, but I'm having trouble finding a foyer light that would work with it. My dining room is open to the foyer and both ceilings are the full 2-stories. Any thoughts about a foyer light or similar combination would be greatly appreciated. This one happens to be inexpensive, but I'm open to more expensive options. Thanks!

You don't have enough information to advise. No pictures, no room size for the dining room, no table shown, no style preference within your home as a whole. Nor a reason beyond size, that the particular light you are showing, appeals: ) See below, and get better suggestions

I appreciate your time. My question was asking what foyer light would work with the chandelier shown at the link? It’s more of a style question.

I wouldn’t put a chandelier there, and I am not a lover of semi-flush mounts. In your situation, add the length and width of the space for the proper size of the fixture. I like the second one a lot…because it looks like it is floating because of the light reflected on the ceiling. ShadesofLight.com

The hallway where the Strada Chandelier is placed is a narrow 5'.5" x 12' with a 10' ceiling (I wish it was a more generously sized foyer but its a production built home in an over 55 community). Beyond the first 12' portion is a trimmed opening leading to the second 12' part of the hallway. It's all one long hallway with the trimmed opening dividing it into two parts. The second part of the foyer has two recessed lights. You're correct, the Strada Medium Chandelier is 28" wide. I hope that's a little bit helpful.

If you want help - post some pics of the spaces. How can anyone give ideas when there's no indication of room sizes, foyer sizes - except that they're 2 story.

What color family? What size will you need 16"?, 20"?, 40"?

If you want answers we need context . That is pics of the spaces and also have you already bought that chandelier? IMO a pretty useless light for a 2 storey space since it is lighting only the ceiling . So more info gets actual help.
